He described his writing as poetic journalism—meaning he embellished and edited truths as he saw fit.  The stories left to tell: A smattering of Grays prolific writings are divided into five voices in Stories Left to Tell—Journals, Adventure, Love, Family, and Career. Each section is read by a different performer—five readers of differing ages, sexes, and races—that inevitably calls attention to the commonality of the human experience.  About the show: Theater Gigantes third production of Stories Left to Tell in is keeping with the shows 2007 New York debut format, a collection of Grays monologues, letters, and journal writings culled by his widow Kathleen Russo and director Lucy Sexton.
