34% off (Sale price $18.25, Reg. Price $28.00) :: Steel Beam Theatre presents the holiday classic Miracle on 34th Street, a Live Radio Show. In it, actors assemble at KSBT in Hollywood for a 1948 live radio show of a new holiday play, but there’s been a miscommunication with the East Coast team, so only a few of the actors show up. The sponsor and his adopted son have to step in, the voice coach to the stars makes a special appearance, and the announcer and producer have to take over the sound effects because the stage manager is sick in bed — all in all, things get very topsy-turvy! In true holiday storytelling, the cast comes together to put on a wonderful show. Using the elements of improvisation and the original LUX Radio Hour script, director JoAnn Smith has assembled a fun and marvelous cast of actors, young and mature alike. Featuring Larry Boller of Elgin, Jake Busse of Joliet, Alex and Ian Cirpinski of St. Charles, Maddie Gartrell of Geneva, Maddie Hargadon of Elgin, Kat Metzger of Vernon Hills, Crystal Skipworth of St. Charles, Ben Slabik of Lombard and Chris Williams of Aurora, Miracle on 34th Street is a family favorite that is sure to please. The tickets identified in this promotion are made available through Goldstar.
