With over 100 miles of whitewater, this river begins on the continental divide, as a patch of melting snow. It gains momentum as it flows past some of the biggest mountains in Colorado benefiting from their abundant snow melt. The Browns Canyon stretch of the Arkansas was recently given national monument status and the river is also known for its Gold Medal fishing.We feel that the most important way to help ensure a safe and enjoyable Colorado whitewater raft trip is to have an experienced raft guide controlling your boat.
