This adventure meets at Rocky Mountain Outdoor Center. Our Outpost is located in Buena Vista, CO right on the banks of the Arkansas River, where you will meet your professional guide and get geared up for the river. We provide each guest with a PFD and helmet. You also have the option of wearing a wetsuit, neoprene boots, and splash top, which we include free of charge! Load into your raft under the shadows of 14,000 ft peaks and launch right from our private beach, just upstream of the entrance to Browns Canyon National Monument. Paddling downstream through Browns Canyon and Lower Browns Canyon on the Arkansas River, you will not only get to experience the stunning scenery of the Canyon but also the exciting rapids of the river, such as Zoom Flume, Widowmaker, The Staircase, Raft Ripper, and Seidels Suckhole. We stop along the river to have a Mountain Mex lunch, which includes locally made burritos and the fixins. At the end of your river trip, there will be a shuttle waiting to bring you and your guide back to the outpost. Not only is this fantastic stretch of river a must for all whitewater enthusiasts, but it is the only way to truly experience the remote beauty of Browns Canyon National Monument.Additional InformationConfirmation will be received at time of bookingConfirmation and What to Bring list will be sent at time of bookingThis trip operates in all Weather Conditions, please dress appropriatelyMinimum Age: 6 years oldChildren must be accompanied by an adultMust Check In 30 minutes prior to trip departure timeInclusionsProfessional Whitewater GuideTransportation to and from the River and our OutpostAll Required Gear: Type V PFD and HelmetOptional Gear: Wetsuit, Neoprene Boots, and Splash TopAll Taxes Fees, Including Colorado Parks Use Access FeesExclusionsGratuities (recommended)Souvenir photos (available to purchase)Departure PointRMOCs Outpost located on the Arkansas River in Buena Vista, CODeparture TimeFull Day Rafting Trip: Departs at 9:30 am, check in at 9:00 amDuration8 hoursVoucher InfoYou c
