We then make our way along the south coast of the island, stopping to visit multiple historic sites along the way and enjoy a picnic lunch. We then make our way up the slopes of Kilauea Volcano, the worlds most active, to see first hand the how a volcano can change the landscape. Here we see the results of explosive volcanic events.Once at Hawai’i Volcanoes National Park, we visit popular locations such as the steam vents at Kilauea Caldera, Kilauea Iki crater, Chain of Craters Road, and the opportunity to explore areas on foot as well.Following an afternoon of exploring, it’s time to sit down and enjoy a comfortable dining experience just a few miles from summit.
