The tour begins at 9:00am and departs from the NW corner of Telfair Square, across the street from the Telfair Academy of Arts and Sciences. On this Tour you will learn about Mary Telfair, one of the most important people in Savannahs history. You will then learn a great deal about the citys antebellum African American history as you wind through Franklin Square and City Market. Next, the tour heads up Bull Street and makes a stop at Wright Square Cafe and Chocolatier for the group to enjoy refreshments. On Sundays, the cafe of choice is Gallery Espresso at Chippewa Square. After the break, its anybodys guess! The guide may take the group east to Abercorn Street or continue further south down Bull Street, depending on what guests have expressed a desire to see.
