Small plates and quick preparation allow for multiple rounds that fit a customers needs perfectly. Lots of special menus around events. Oyster Nights every Friday night with $1.50 a shuck oysters. What made you want to work with food? When did you first develop that passion? Both Matt and Ash worked in a restaurant before starting the Meadery. Katelin, the tasting room manager, was a sous chef at multiple establishments before taking over at the meadery. What is one fun, unusual fact about your business? The original tasting room was originally a post office at the turn of the century, a grocery store in the 30s and shoe store in the 40s. The shelves and footholds from the shoe store still exist today. Is there anything else you want to add that we didnt cover? The cheeses on the Ploughmans Lunch pair very well with the Meads produced at Sap House Meadery. The Gorgonzola Dulce and the Sugar Maple are a staff favorite.
