Lessons are in a small-group setting, keeping them very intimate and comfortable. We have 500 pounds of Play Clay, along with molds and ceramics. All ages are welcome. Makes a great gift for Christmas or birthday. Buy one for a friend, or plan a party (room for 10+).Do you provide any materials? What should your students expect to bring?PVArtspace provides acrylic paints, basic color glazes for firing, and most of the tools needed for hand building and cleaning. We have Play Clay, which is a moist clay body with great plasticity. We have Super White talc earthenware pottery, and red stoneware with grog. We also have about 1,000 molds. What was the inspiration to start or run this business?I have always loved playing with clay and painting ceramics. When I had an opportunity to take over my downstairs apartment and create an art space, I jumped at it. I have collected 500 and 1,000 molds of all shapes and sizes, and I partnered with a local slip-caster to bring unique pieces to paint. What do you love most about your job?I love miniatures and brought home over 100 tiny molds for slipcasting. I have molds for Christmas ornaments, miniatures, garden pieces, porcelain flowers, and more. I have over 20 Christmas village house molds and I love seeing the faces of my students when they pour and release their first mold.
