Children younger than 2 years old may fly at no cost if they can safely fit on one of their parents laps. A minimum of two passengers per tour is required. These tours are not private and passengers may be paired with other people.During the private-pilot experience, a piloting instructor first teaches the student basic flight controls, flying techniques, and safety procedures in a training session that takes place on the ground. After taking off, the instructor hands over control of the helicopter, letting students soar over Westchester County, the Hudson River, and the coastlines of Hudson Valley, New York and Connecticut, all the while enjoying views of the Manhattan skyline in the distance.
