Nova (Rutina Wesley) returns to Atlanta to visit Dr. Robert Dubois (Alimi Ballard), where they attend a dinner party, which doesn’t go as planned when Nova clashes with Robert’s friend. Charley’s (Dawn-Lyen Gardner) authentic magazine interview finally gets published and Remy (Dondré T. Whitfield) expresses that the farmers have questions about some of what they read. Charley attends a potluck to address their concerns. She then uses the opportunity to tell Remy how she feels. Charley also talks to Darla (Bianca Lawson) about withholding information in her father’s will. Later, Micah (Nicholas L. Ashe) sees Davis (Timon Kyle Durrett) on a date, which leads to an honest conversation about Micah’s resentment. The exchange opens the door for Micah to finally reveal the details of his traumatizing encounter with a police officer. Finally, Violet has a health issue and Ralph Angel (Kofi Siriboe) and Darla (Bianca Lawson) take a big step.
