They may be an aristocrat or a street urchin from the seventeen hundreds. As the past unfolds you will meet your second story teller at Pier 15 where the history of the Seaport comes to life. From pirates to oyster farmers, the seaport was the heart of commerce. Arriving at the 9/11 Memorial grounds, your third story teller will share with you all that has taken place and all the future holds for the city that is always reinventing itself. This 3 hour tour will provide a comprehensive insight into all that makes Lower Manhattan a must-visit destination.Want to take a break? This tour offers two optional walk off / walk on points allowing you to customize your day downtown. As the first of the three segments comes to a close at Pier 15 you may want to spend time exploring the Seaport and its many retail shops and restaurants. When you are ready to continue, meet the next tour group at that same point of departure. Another opportunity to walk off is at the Oculus near the 9/11 Memorial grounds. Here you may choose to enjoy the views from the observation deck at the One World Trade Center or spend time at the 9/11 Museum.
