The Holidays Bring Us Together: Saturday, December 15, at 4 p.m.Celebrate the holidays with Joel Hillan. The spirit of the holidays will fill you with joy and excitement as you listen to works by Tchaikovsky, Alfred Reed, Leroy Anderson and more. The Dream Is Alive: Saturday, February 16, at 4 p.m.Shakespeare wrote in Twelfth Night, “If music be the food of love, play on, Give me excess of it…” and that’s just what the Denver Pops is going to do. The audience will enjoy music by Von Suppe, Bizet, Henry Mancini and music from the musical Grease. In Celebration of Music: Saturday, April 6, at 4 p.m.The season finale will be with the Denver Pops. This concert will capture the indomitable spirit of America as they explore the American dream through music. Music from some great American composers will be featured like Aaron Copland, John Williams and a young American composer by the name of Peter Boyer. His composition titled American Rhapsody, will feature Denver Pops very own Mark Boykins on piano.
