We thoroughly discuss our ethos and explain why buying local is so important for the quality of our product and the impact on the local economy. The tour ends with a sampling of some of our award – winning spirits. What actually sets us apart from our competitors is that we will never be the largest distillery in Illinois, but we will be the best. All of our products have won awards for taste and quality from multiple organizations, like the San Francisco World Spirits Competition and more recently the Heartland Spirits Fest Whiskey Competition where we were named Best in Illinois, and Best in Show.What was the inspiration to start or run this business? We started this business to prove that big names and mass-produced products may not always be the best choice. As a craft distillery we focus on taste and quality rather than mass production.What do you love most about your job?Greeting all of the visitors to the distillery and making this an educated and fun guest experience.What is the best reaction youve ever gotten from a customer?Let’s just say that people are amazed at how good our Vodka Gin and Bourbon is. We are frequently the first stop when people visit Geneva Illinois as we are on the way into town. All of the bars, restaurants, and liquor stores support us and so once the tour has ended here at the distillery the experience still continues when those guests visit our local eateries and watering holes and can order the same products that they learned about on our tour.
