Your Aurora Borealis viewing and ice fishing expedition takes place on a frozen lake outside North Pole. This location was chosen for the excellent ice fishing and the amazing aurora views. Upon arrival at the frozen lake; your guide will show you the technique for catching fish through 5 feet of ice. The deluxe cabin has removable covers in the floor that you will fish through. You will be warm and comfortable while you fish and wait for the magical aurora to appear. Each person will have their own fishing spot. Be sure to bring your camera, tripod, spare camera batteries and charger. The cold temperatures outside can drain batteries quickly and you dont want to miss out on that aurora picture of a lifetime. You will fish for King Salmon, Rainbow Trout, Arctic Char, and Rainbow Grayling. Sip steaming hot cocoa as you bring up fish from the clear water underworld.
