Discover, explore and enjoy the Latin flavor of Miami and Miami Beach, its famous and hidden sites, food, people, in a exciting tour on foot and by car. In a little over than 100 years Miami became one of the biggest and most important cities in the United States. A predominantly Hispanic population makes it a unique place. This tour will take eight hours between walking and driving. It begins at 10am in the corner of 5th. Street and Ocean Drive in the heart of South Beach. You will be walked through Ocean Drive and visit the most famous Art-Deco hotels, Casa Casuarina (Versace Mansion), and then drove through Washington Avenue being presented to many iconic places. We will stop for photos at the Holocaust Monument, and walk through the stunning Fontainebleau Hotel. Next we will drive through the Julia Tuttle Causeway into the Magic City. First stop: the Design District. The most important high-end luxurious designers stores of the world concentrate in a few blocks here. Next to the Design District is Wynwood, a borough that invites graffiti artists from all over the world to use its walls as canvas. We will enter Wynwood Walls to admire works of art, and take lots of pictures. The tour guide is a fine art photographer and will give tips to the participants and photograph them (photos will be edited and sent through the Internet in max. of 48 hours). We will stop for lunch at a famous Cuban restaurant where a showcase with a huge variety of mouth-watering food will make you ask for help to choose. Then let´s drive through the dreamlike streets of Coral Gables to the Alhambra Water Tower, the Biltmore Hotel and the Venetian Pool, Cocoplum, while listening to the interesting history of this area. The botanical richness of sub-tropical Miami will be seen in all its beauty as we drive to Coconut Grove on the way to Calle Ocho, in Little Havana, the center of the Cuban life.
