Starting from our Golden Gate Park bike center, ride along the historic Haight Ashbury neighborhood, once home to peace, love, and the Grateful Dead! Check out gorgeous, abundant Victorian homes peppered throughout the area before heading into Golden Gate Park. Inside the 1000 acre park, the opportunities are endless. Riders can visit the Conservatory of Flowers, Arboretum/ Botanical Gardens, Shakespeare Garden and Japanese tea Gardens. Be sure to lockup the bikes and visit two world class museums- California Academy of Sciences and the DeYoung – before circling around Stow Lake. Out on the beach, enjoy oceanfront bike path and the sand dunes that shore up the city. Real adventurers can ride out to the zoo before heading back past the Bison paddock, Spreckels Lake and more. Other options include, riding the coast north through the Cliffhouse, Sutro Baths, and Land’s End to the Golden Gate Bridge; exploring Alamo Square Civic center, the Mission, and Castro.
