The Wildlife Tour begins in downtown Anchorage, with a professional, local driver-guide navigating Alaskas winter road conditions for you. On our approximately 1-hour drive south, you will be taking in the scenic views of Turnagain Arm, Chugach Mountains, and hopefully some local wildlife! The main attraction is the Alaska Wildlife Conservation Center (AWCC) where you will visit with musk ox, moose, elk herd, caribou herd, and more Alaskan wild animals. The musk ox are right at home in the winter wonderland, and even the once-thought-to-be-extinct wood bison make for a picturesque photo with the amazing backdrop of the Chugach Range and Turnagain Arm. You will spend one to two hours here, with your Salmon Berry guide, before heading back to Anchorage.HOTEL PICKUP POLICY: For a quality experience, we limit all of our tours to a maximum of three (3) hotel pickups per departure. If your hotel is not available, the departure point is the Salmon Berry Tours office, across from the Log Cabin Visitors Center downtown. Our guest lounge offers complimentary beverages, and restrooms are available.Additional InformationConfirmation will be received at time of bookingChildren must be accompanied by an adultA small amount of walking is involvedOperates in all weather conditions, please dress appropriatelyInfant seats are available on request if advised at time of bookingAdult pricing applies to all travelersCollapsible wheelchairs can be accommodated providing the passenger is accompanied by someone who can assist them to board and disembark the vehicleInclusionsAll taxes, fees and handling chargesBottled waterSnacksLocal guideLimited hotel pickup, first come first serveExclusionsGratuities (recommended)Departure PointSalmon Berry Tours officeDeparture Time11:45amDuration4 hoursVoucher InfoYou can present either a paper or an electronic voucher for this activity. The tour identified in this promotion is made available through Viator.
