The minimum age for this trip is five years old. You will see some great beginner rapids at class II-III. You will be meeting at our Cotopaxi office located at 19487 US Hwy 50 in Cotopaxi, CO. The check in time is 9:15am and 1:15pm daily, and the launch time is 10:00am and 2:00pm daily. This break in between check in and launch gives you plenty of time to get changed, get suited up in a life vest and helmet, as well as hearing the safety talk that your guide will go over with you. You will float from Coaldale to our riverside base in Cotopaxi while enjoying scenic views of the Sangre de Cristo Range. This itinerary is the best trip for rafting in Colorado on the Arkansas River for families with young kids.
