Feel like a kid again as you embark on on a 4.5-hr, 2 mile (3.22 kilometer) professionally-guided walking tour, throughout which you will experience some of the most magnificent holiday decorations that New York City has to offer. The tour begins from a starting point that is central to many of the spectacular sights that will be seen throughout the tour. Youll visit several amazing holiday displays in this initial area that many other tours omit before heading further uptown. From the nearby Plaza Hotel, youll begin the journey south (downtown) along New Yorks famous Fifth Avenue. Youll be both amazed and delighted as you view the many beautiful holiday displays of New Yorks most expensive and prominent retailers. While touring along Fifth Avenue, youll visit inside the beautiful Saint Patricks Cathedral (dependent upon church access). Youll also visit Rockefeller Centers gigantic Christmas tree and ice rink. If the mood is right, you just might be encouraged to indulge in a little holiday song sing-a-long with your guide, while in the area. Further south along Fifth Avenue youll view many more beautiful holiday displays until reaching the New York City Pubic Library and Bryant Park. Once arriving at the Bank of America Winter Village at Bryant Park, youll be given an opportunity for a little bit of shopping at its more than 100 pop-up shops. Afterwards, you will visit a few more beautifully decorated windows of famous retail stores before winding down the evening with a hot beverage to warm chilled bones and a deliciously decadent dessert of choice, at an restaurant well-known for its desserts.Your guide will provide expert commentary for all sites visited along the route.
