Your guide will pick you up at your hotel in Portland by 10:00am. Youll drive 30-90 minutes to your first winery in the Willamette Valley. During the drive, your host will get a feel for what remaining stops may be best suited to the group, and special requests will be considered and discussed. After the first winery, well meander back toward Portland through the heart of Willamette Valley wine country. At the second tasting room, youll be given a cheese platter. From there well continue on to another location to taste wine. Lest you think your journey is done, well visit a final vineyard. Over the course of the day youll see multiple viticultural sub-regions of the Willamette Valley, up to and including the Eola-Amity Hills, the Red Hills of Dundee, Ribbon Ridge, Yamhill-Carlton, the Chehalem Mountains, and the western Tualatin Valley. Your professional guide will provide commentary and conversation throughout the day.
