Statue of Liberty and One World Observatory


Meet the tour guide just outside Battery Park, at the corner of Pearl and State Streets, to begin this full-day adventure in New York City. Begin with a short walk to the ferry dock for the ride to Liberty Island. Along the way, the guide will present the oftentimes overlooked monuments and memorials of Battery Park, like the Immigrants sculpture and the Sphere, a large metallic sculpture by German artist Fritz Koenig (which once stood at the World Trade Center).Then board the ferry via the reserved ticket holders line for Liberty Island. Enter the Statue of Liberty to see the original torch and listen as the guide introduces Lady Liberty, pointing out the highlights of the Statue of Liberty Museum. Then, climb to the pedestal for one of the best views in the Big Apple at 10 stories above New York Harbor. Get a once-in-a-lifetime photo with the statue before heading for Ellis Island to relive the immigrant experience. Walk in the footsteps of those who arrived to the US here. Visit the Baggage Room, the Great Hall and walk down the stairs of separation, where immigrants went on to follow their respective destinies.
